U.S. has lost 5 million manufacturing jobs since 2000
Since 2000, the U.S. has shed 5 million manufacturing jobs as companies face increasing competitive pressures.
In 1960, about one in four American workers had a job in manufacturing. Today fewer than one in 10 are employed in the sector, according to government data.
Those manufacturing jobs are high paying, quality jobs capable of supporting a family and helping communities stay strong. When America loses its jobs, it hurts the entire country.
There are perhaps hundreds of reasons why the US is losing jobs...increase use of robotics, lower labor costs from Mexico and China and so on. However,
ClearPower can help companies and industries keep more jobs by providing a lower cost of energy using their gravity-fed, turbine technology.
